On 24 May 2019, a simple bursary awards ceremony was held at Hwa Chong Institution College Conference Room, which saw the awarding of bursaries to 45 JC2 students. Set up in 1999 by the Hwa Chong Junior College Alumni, the Bursary Fund aims to lend financial support to students at Hwa Chong Institution so that they can strive for excellence.
